The Presentation order have been delivering quality education in Tralee for over 200 years (see <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sacred Heart Primary School- A Brief History<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). The school is comprised of the junior building: a listed building dating from the 1930s, as well as the senior building: built in the 1960s. The school has an enrolment of 280 pupils in 12 mainstream classes. There is a teaching staff of 18 and an administrative principal, along with 3 special needs assistants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The campus incorporates two buildings, two school yards with basketball courts, a school <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">halla<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with stage, a library, a music room, a computer lab, a sensory room, a language\/<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aistear<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> room for junior classes, a cookery\/parent\u2019s room, a soft outdoor play area, as well as an outdoor classroom\/creative space. The secretary\u2019s office and principal\u2019s office are located in the junior building on the left as you enter through Green lane (signposted \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reception<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school is located right at the heart of Tralee and is walking distance from the town park, library, town centre and other amenities. There is ease of access through St. John\u2019s church entrance and Green Lane.
