[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our School Choir comprises our fifth and sixth class girls. We take part in a range of school, liturgical and community events. We have won many prizes in the past in Sc\u00f3r na bP\u00e1ist\u00ed, Sl\u00f3gadh, Pan Ceilteach and feiseanna. We have participated in C\u00f3r Fh\u00e9ile na Scoile in Kerry and Cork (as invited guests). We have performed with Liam Lawton, The Irish Sopranos, Kerry Choral Union and Tralee Chamber Choir. We have composed many songs that have been aired on local radio stations. Our \u201cStar Rap\u201d (sung with Kieran Donaghy) was played by Eoghan Mc Dermot on 2FM and also featured on JOE.ie. A song we composed for Seachtain na Gaeilge, \u201cC\u00e9n F\u00e1th\u201d won a national competition and funding to enhance music education in our school, while another composition, \u201cThis is My Island\u201d made it to the All-Ireland final of \u201cSong for \u201816\u201d in the National Concert Hall in Dublin. We have also produced and launched CDs.<\/p>\n
Our School Band comprises children who play a range of instruments, namely accordian, concertina, tin whistle, recorder, flute, fiddle, ukulele, keyboard, drums and percussion.
