Fifth class had a great time discovering interesting facts about old monuments and buildings around town on a history trail last Friday. They visited the site of the original Presentation School. They also met Norma Foley, our Minister for Education, who was very impressed with their knowledge and ideas!

This week was Friendship Week! All classes got involved in a range of activities such as art, drama, task cards involving friendship scenarios and songs. In the junior building we had a rainbow fish inspired by the story ‘The Rainbow Fish’. The children put their names on the fish when they did something kind or helpful for a friend. In the senior building, we had a friendship wall where the children wrote down their kind and helpful deeds on the wall.It was a very successful and happy friendship week! 😊💙

Each class group has been given a habitat to study. All classes will be visiting each of the habitats in the coming months. Junior infants went to the park with Cathy 😊🐞🪲🌳🌱⚘
