Work has commenced on a new school garden/creative space outside the senior building, with funding from the Creative Kerry Youth Partnership. It will be comprised of an outdoor classroom with tree trunk seats and a blackboard, a small stage, raised beds for growing fruit and veg, as well as a sensory garden for the children to enjoy. There will be elements for children to design and build in the autumn, but beds/fencing will be in place by then.It will be a great addition to the school and we look forward to many hours growing food, supporting bio-diversity, performing, and being creative.We will keep everyone updated with photos as the work continues to progress
