6th class listened to Dr. John Barry of I.T.T as part of Science week today. He taught the girls a lot of information about molecules, atoms, carbon atoms, the physical world, earth and space, biological world, chemical world, the heart, and the brain!!! They learned so much and they were captivated by the Science world!!Many thanks to the Education Centre Tralee.

6th class did the rain in a jar experiment. The shaving cream in the jar represents the cloud. Blue food colouring is dropped into cloud eventually becoming so heavy that it can no longer hold the water. It rains down into the jar.They also took part in a STEM activity with MakerMeet. Building a paper tower that can hold a 100g weight.
