4th class spent an active day on the tombolo (back beach) in Fenit last week. A tombolo is a bar of sand connecting the mainland to an island. The boys and girls spent their time laying signs to encourage people to stay off the marram grass. Repeated walking on the grass kills it and leads to erosion of the tombolo.

6th class made soup today with all the ingredients from the school garden!! They prepared all the vegetables and herbs themselves. They were delighted with the end result 😊🥔🍅🥕🥦 Well done girls!

Mrs Dillon began her journey with Presentation as a junior infant and today leaves behind a great legacy that will continue to inspire the next generation of teachers and students. For many years she devoted herself to educating the children of Presentation. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues. It isn’t many people that leave a special place in people’s hearts. Today 5th class were treated to a visit from Maria and her animal roadshow. She brought with her a snake, a lizard called Chunk, two tortoises, Herby and Freddy (who live in a poly tunnel!), an owl from Africa and a guinea-pig called Ozzzy who’s looking for love! Many thanks to Mr. Hickey who organised this as a thank you to the girls for the great work they did litter picking during the year.
